Spokane, Washington is a sports city through and through. From youth clubs to storied collegiate programs and professional teams, Spokanites are deeply passionate about our competition and our fandom. In June 2021, the United Soccer League awarded expansion rights to Spokane. From there, Aequus Sports LLC and the Inland Northwest community built professional soccer in Spokane from a dream into two standout clubs: Spokane Zephyr FC and Spokane Velocity FC.
