Simon Fitch

Proven League One defender Simon Fitch joins Spokane after playing four seasons with Richmond, where he started in 96 of his 106 appearances. Fitch led Richmond in minutes played for three straight seasons, helping lead the club to the USL League One Semifinals in 2022 as a rookie. 

Prior to playing professionally, Fitch played collegiately at VCU from 2018–21, making 63 starts for the Rams from his sophomore through senior seasons and earning Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team twice. As a senior in 2021, Fitch scored a team-high three match-winning goals, which also tied for the fifth-highest in the conference. 

Sarah McCoy

Defender Sarah McCoy spent a year with North Carolina Courage of the NWSL before heading Down Under to join Canberra United of Australia’s top tier A-League. In three years at the University of Virginia, she appeared in 61 matches and helped the Cavaliers record 13 shutouts during the 2021 season. She was named to the Big Ten All Freshman team during her time with the Purdue Boilermakers.

Haley Thomas

Haley Thomas of Kennewick, Washington, played college soccer at Weber State, where she was named Big Sky Co-Defensive MVP in 2020 among her numerous accolades, before finishing as a graduate student at Boston College. She headed to Iceland to begin her professional career, singing with Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja (ÍBV). After appearing in 39 matches over two seasons, she signed with MSV Duisburg, averaging 82 minutes a match for the Zebras.
